Kay Lippert, known professionally as Hardy Hard, was born on September 10, 1974, in Dresden, Germany. He is a German disc jockey and electronic music producer who initially gained recognition under the name Hardsequencer. His musical journey in Zauckerode, where he started creating music using an Amiga computer. His early breakthrough came in 1993 with the release of "Noise is the Message Rmx" as part of the Hardsequencer Amiga E.P. on the popular Thunderdome compilation series. Kay Lippert's first album, Brain Crash, was released in 1994 under his initial pseudonym Hardsequencer. He gained further attention with remixes like "I Love You" for Yello and his single "The Sound Transformation", which reached Number 1 on the German Singlecharts in 1995. In the mid-1990s, Kay Lippert faced a setback when his equipment was stolen during an apartment break-in. Despite this, he continued to produce music under various aliases, including Chemical Reaction Food. His most notable success came with "Silver Surfer" in 1999, a cover of Tor Bernhard Gausen's Beams of Light. Kay Lippert collaborated extensively with Afrika Bambaataa and performed at major events such as Mayday and Loveparade. He released his second album, Fat Burner, under the Chemical Reaction Food pseudonym in 2002.
