Cecil Jonni Lauro was a German band formed in 2003 by three brothers: Cecil Carlos Remmler, Lauro Edoard, and Jonni Raphael. The trio, sons of musician Stephan Remmler, initially lived between Basel, Switzerland, and Lanzarote, Spain. Their father supported their band project, including production work at his studio on Lanzarote. Cecil Jonni Lauro gained prominence with their debut single "Everybody Cha Cha", released in summer 2003. The bilingual pop song peaked at Number 28 on the German singles charts and led to television appearances. Their follow-up single "Buckle Up 'n' Chuggeluck" reached Number 66 on the charts. In 2004, the band appeared in three episodes of the youth series Fabrixx. Despite plans for a debut album, the group lost their contract with Warner Music and did not release it. Their last known release was a cover of "Da Da Da", originally by Trio, available as a music download but not as a single. Following these activities, Cecil pursued a career as a music producer, while Jonni became a screenwriter and Lauro a data analyst. In 2024, an unreleased track titled "Ping Pong" was made available on music streaming platforms.
