Jim Verraros is an American singer and actor born as James Conrad Verraros on February 8, 1983, in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Verraros achieved professional recognition in 2002 after finishing in ninth place on the first season of the television series American Idol. He was featured on the compilation album American Idol: Greatest Moments (2002), which reached number four on the Billboard 200 chart and included his cover of the track “Easy” (2002). Verraros released his debut studio album, Rollercoaster (2005), through the label Koch Records. The single “You Turn It On” (2005) reached number 21 on the Billboard Dance Club Play chart. His discography includes the studio recording Do Not Disturb (2011). As an actor, he performed in the films Eating Out (2004), Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds (2006), and Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild! (2008). He followed these with the extended play Explicit (2025), which featured the track “Take My Bow” (2023).
