Cvetka Ahlin, born on November 28, 1927, in Ljubljana, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, was a Slovenian opera singer and mezzo-sopranist. She studied at the Music Academy in Ljubljana under Julius Betetto and graduated as a music pedagogue in 1951. Ahlin won first prize at the International Gesangswettbewerb der Europäischen Rundfunkanstalten in 1954. Her professional debut was at the Opera of the Slovenian National Theatre in Ljubljana. From 1956 to 1974, she performed at the Hamburg State Opera, excelling in roles such as Lotte in Werther and Amneris in Aida. Ahlin passed away on July 30, 1985, in Hamburg.
