Hecht is a Swiss pop-rock band from Lucerne, singing in the Swiss German dialect. Founded in the early 2000s as Seng by Stefan Buck, Christoph Schröter and Rolf Furrer, the band evolved into Hecht in 2011 with the addition of Philipp Morscher and Daniel Gisler. Their first dialect single, "Tänzer", followed by "24 Bilder", marks their transition to music in Swiss German. They then released the EP Revier Songs in 2011, followed by their debut album Wer zerscht s'Meer gsehd in 2012, which reached number 72 in the Swiss charts. In 2013, they win Best National Talent at the Swiss Music Awards. In 2015, Hecht released their second album, Adam + Eva, which reached #5 in the Swiss charts, and composed the official song for the "SRF bewegt" initiative. Their third album, Oh Boy, was released in 2018 and reached #2 in the Swiss charts. The band is renowned for its energetic performances, on-stage choreography and creative music videos, often made in collaboration with producer Claude Gabriel. In 2019, they gave their biggest concert ever at Zurich's Hallenstadion. On August 1, 2022, Hecht played to around 30,000 people on Swiss National Day, and in December 2024, they gave two full concerts at Zurich's X-TRA, followed by a series of Christmas concerts in 2025.
