Pianoбой (formed 2009, in Kyiv) was a Ukrainian musical project established by Dmytro Shurov, former keyboardist for Okean Elzy and Esthetic Education. The initial lineup included Shurov, his sister Olga Shurova, Lida Tutuola, Ilya Galushko, and Andriy Nadolsky. The ensemble debuted at the Moloko Music Festival in September 2009. In November 2009, the group released the single "Smysla.net", followed by its first solo concert in December. Pianoбой collaborated with BoomBox on the song "Floors" (2011). Its recording career featured the albums Simple Things (2012), Don't Stop Dreaming (2013), and Take Off (2015). The group won several YUNA Awards, including Best Rock Band in 2013 and 2014. The later discography included the studio albums XICTOPI (2019) and Zabroshka (2020). In 2022, Shurov served as the music producer for the Eurovision Song Contest national selection. He established a reputation for performing in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
