Fernando Santullo, known professionally as Santullo, is a Uruguayan singer and rapper born on 31 January 1968. He achieved professional recognition as the founder of the group El Peyote Asesino, which issued the studio albums El Peyote Asesino (1995) and Terraja (1998). After the ensemble disbanded in 1999, Santullo established the group Kato and released their eponymous studio recording, Kato (2003). He collaborated with Bajofondo on the studio recording Mar Dulce (2007), which featured the tracks “Ya no duele” (2007) and “El mareo” (2007). The latter received a nomination for Best Alternative Song at the 2008 Latin Grammy Awards. His recording career includes the solo studio album Bajofondo presenta Santullo (2009), which received the Premio Iris for Album of the Year. His discography includes the studio recordings El mar sin miedo (2014) and Serial (2021).
