Peter Goalby, born July 13, 1950, is an English rock singer. He was the lead vocalist and second guitarist for Trapeze, contributing to their studio album Hold On (1979) and live recording Live in Texas: Dead Armadillos (1981).He joined Uriah Heep as the lead vocalist from 1982 to 1986. During this period, he recorded three albums with the band: Abominog, Head First, and Equator. Notably, he wrote "Blood Red Roses," which was included on Uriah Heep's 1989 album Raging Silence and released as a single. Goalby has also written songs for other artists, including "The Bump" recorded by Alvin Stardust and "Falling Apart" recorded by Smokie. His solo work includes the albums Easy With The Heartaches (2021) and I Will Come Runnin' (2022).
