Christian Wallumrød

A Norwegian pianist and composer born in 1971, Christian Wallumrød worked with the trio Close Erase (1996-2006) and on a number of local jazz productions before forming his own groups, the Christian Wallumrød Trio, author of the album No Birch (1998), and the Christian Wallumrød Ensemble, which recorded the albums Sofienberg Variations (2001), A Year from Easter (2004) and The Zoo Is Far (2007) for the ECM label. The Ensemble welcomes new members on the following albums Fabula Suite Lugano (2009) and Outstairs (2013).
