Lauren Evans, born February 3, 1983, in California, is an American singer. She began her music career early, contributing to DreamWorks' The Prince of Egypt soundtrack under the pseudonym Christian. In 1999, her song "Didn't I" earned her a Stellar Award nomination for Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year. Evans collaborated with various artists and producers, contributing vocals to projects like Disney Channel shows such as That's So Raven, The Cheetah Girls, and High School Musical. She also lent her voice to animated series such as 4KidsTV’s Bratz and released the compilation album Bratz: Genie Magic in 2006. Her songwriting credits include hits like "One Step at a Time" for Jordin Sparks, which became a Top 20 hit internationally, and "Bad Boys" for Alexandra Burke, which topped the UK charts and was nominated for 'Best British Single' at the 2010 BRIT Awards.
