Fuzön is a pop rock band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, formed in 2001 by guitarist Shallum Asher Xavier and keyboardist Imran Momina. The band’s name reflects a fusion of Pakistani classical music and modern soft rock blended with Sufi singing styles. Vocalist Shafqat Amanat Ali joined the founding members shortly after their formation. Fuzön released their debut album, Saagar, in 2002, which was notable for being released concurrently in Pakistan and India. The album gained popularity through tracks such as “Aakhon Kay Saagar”, “Akhiyaan”, “Tere Bina”, and “Khamaaj”. The group won the Best Video award for “Khamaaj” at the Lux Style Awards. In 2006, Ali left the group to concentrate on solo projects. The band released the album Journey in 2008 before Rameez Mukhtar joined as the main vocalist in 2011. Fuzön later released the studio album Ik Ranjha in 2015.
