The Botticellis were an American surf pop band formed in 2003 in Santa Cruz, California, by Alexi Glickman, Zack Ehrlich, Burton Li, and Dave Tranchina. Their early releases included a self-titled EP in 2004 (featuring the track "The Botticellis") and another EP in 2006. In 2008, the band released their debut album Old Home Movies through Antenna Farm Records, which received critical acclaim from outlets such as NPR, Dusted Magazine, Allmusic, Pitchfork Media, Daytrotter, and Crawdaddy!. The album's sound was described as "chamber pop" with influences from 1960s California surf music and post-Beatles pop groups. A notable single from the album included "Awaiting On You All / Table by the Window". The band dissolved in 2010, with members pursuing separate musical projects.
