Mark Gemini Thwaite, born on June 15, 1965 in Marston Green, Birmingham, England, is an English guitarist. He formed his first band during school and later joined National Velvet in Toronto. In 1992, he became a member of UK Gothic rock band The Mission, contributing to albums such as Neverland (1995) and Blue (1996). In 1998, he joined Tricky’s live band for the tour promoting Angels with Dirty Faces, contributing to several studio albums including Mission Accomplished EP (2000) and Blowback (2001). Thwaite's work includes collaborations with notable artists such as Peter Murphy of Bauhaus, Gary Numan, and Alanis Morissette. He also formed New Disease, which released their debut album Patent Life in 2015.
