Electric Skychurch, an electronic music group based in Los Angeles, California, was formed in 1991 by composer and producer James Lumb. The band initially included vocalist Roxanne Morganstern and percussionist Alex Spurkel. Electric Skychurch's breakthrough came with the release of their debut album Knowoneness on January 18, 1995. Their single "Together" from the EP of the same name reached Number 1 on the College Music Journal RPM dance chart in 1996. The band collaborated with notable musicians such as Leigh Gorman of Bow Wow Wow and worked with record labels like Moonshine Music. Electric Skychurch was featured in the documentary film Better Living Through Circuitry. Member David de Laski later formed the music project Lord Runningclam.
