El Hadji Fall Diouf, also known as Élage Diouf, born in Dakar, Senegal, is a Quebec percussionist and singer-songwriter of Senegalese origin. He began playing percussion autodidactically at a young age and settled in Montreal in 1996 after performing with his brother, Pape Abdou Karim Diouf. The brothers gained recognition collaborating with artists like Loco Locass and Les Colocs, contributing vocals in Wolof to the album Dehors novembre and co-writing "Tassez-vous de d’là" with André Fortin. In 2010, Élage Diouf released his debut solo album Aksil, which won the Juno Award for World Music Album of the Year. His subsequent albums include Melokáane (2015) and Wutiko (2021), both of which received critical acclaim and nominations at the ADISQ Gala and Canadian Folk Music Awards.
