Pete Swanson is an American musician and member of the experimental band Yellow Swans. Formed in 2001 with Gabriel Mindel Saloman, the duo released their debut album Bring The Neon War Home (2003) through their JYRK label. Yellow Swans performed improvisational noise music and toured internationally. Their recordings include the album Psychic Secession (2005). Although Swanson announced the band's split in 2008, the group resumed activity in 2020 with archival projects. In 2023, Yellow Swans performed at the Oblivion Access Festival and released the live recording Out of Practice (2024).
