Gajendra Verma, born 20 April 1990 in Sirsa, Haryana, is an Indian singer, songwriter and composer whose early exposure to music came from his father, poet Surender Verma, and his own performances from the age of four. He began playing harmonium and guitar before pursuing sound engineering, which enabled him to produce much of his own work. Verma’s breakthrough arrived with the single "Emptiness (Tune Mere Jaana)" in 2010, which garnered online attention and established him as an independent artist. In 2013 he released "Tujse Door Jo Hota Hun", followed by "Anjaam" in 2015 and "Tera Ghata" in 2018, the latter accumulating significant views on YouTube and resonating across India, Pakistan, Nepal and the UAE. His debut single Tera Hi Rahun was released in 2016, and the EP Summary in 2021 combined music with visual storytelling. Subsequent singles include "Main Aur Tu" in 2019, "Tere Nashe Mein Choor" in 2020, "Pehla Pyar" in 2021 and "Maar Sutteya" in 2022.
