Nihad Alibegović, born Nihad on January 1, 1962, in Voljice near Gornji Vakuf, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a Bosnian singer. After graduating from high school in Gornji Vakuf, Alibegović began his musical career by participating in a 1982 amateur singing competition in Sarajevo, where he secured the first place among over 1000 contestants. This victory marked his breakthrough moment, leading to the release of his debut album Galebe moj in 1984 under RTV-Sarajevo. Throughout his career, Nihad Alibegović has released over ten albums, including notable works such as Plači sa mnom violino (1987), Tebe nema (1991), and Samo za nju (2012). His music has garnered significant popularity among Bosnian communities across the West Balkan region and Europe. Alibegović is also known for his singles, including "Uvele Su Ruže" (2002) and "Ti I Ja, Svijeta Dva" (2004).
