Kim Massie, born 1957, was an American blues singer born in St. Louis, Missouri. Her early musical experiences were rooted in gospel music in East St. Louis. Massie began her professional career in 1999 after returning to St. Louis, initially performing with the band of saxophonist Oliver Sain and later forming her own group, The Solid Senders. She gained recognition through frequent appearances at blues events and festivals across the United States. Massie won two awards for Best Female Vocalist of the Year from the Riverfront Times and starred in the St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre's production of It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues in 2003. She released her album Soul Serenade in September 2012. Massie passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 63.
