Hallelujah the Hills, an American indie rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, was formed in late 2005 by Ryan H. Walsh. The group signed with Misra Records in 2006 after gaining traction through live shows and demo recordings. Their first two albums, Collective Psychosis Begone (2007) and Colonial Drones (2009), were released under this label while the band toured extensively across the U.S. The band was also known for their unusual collaborations, including co-writing a song with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and working with author Jonathan Lethem. In 2013, they released their collection of b-sides and rarities titled Portrait of the Artist as a Young Trashcan. Their fifth album, Have You Ever Done Something Evil? (2014), was critically acclaimed and won two Boston Music Awards in 2014 for Best Rock Act and Best Video.
