A violinist with the Orchestre National de France, Sarah Nemtanu (b. 1981) came into the spotlight thanks to the film Le Concert, which revealed her. In summer 2010, she signed her first solo album Gypsic, featuring classical pieces and gypsy melodies. The Franco-Romanian musician, daughter of virtuoso Vladimir Nemtanu, follows Kurt Masur and the NFB in the Tchaikovsky Live recital released in 2013, with a favorite work, the Violin Concerto Op. 35.
