Quiero Club is a Mexican experimental pop indie band formed in Monterrey in 2004 by vocalist and guitarist Priscila González, bassist Luis Fara, drummer Boscop Benavente, keyboardist Marcela Viejo, and guitarist Gustavo “Cátsup” Hernández. Their breakthrough came when the single "No Coke" was released in 2005 and became a staple on Mexico City’s Reactor 105.7, leading to a performance at Vive Latino in 2005. In 2006, the self‑produced album WOF was issued, followed by Nueva América in 2008, which included the hit "Minutos de Aire" co‑written with Chilean singer Jorge González, and that topped Reactor in 2009. The 2013 studio album, El Techo es el Suelo, earned a 2013 Latin Grammy nomination for best art/package and the 2014 IMAS award for best electronic album. A 2014 vinyl compilation DIEZ marked the group’s decade, and the 2018 release Oportunidad de Oro added singles "Oportunidad de Oro" and "Millones" to their catalog. After the departures of Gustavo Hernández and Marcela Viejo in 2017 and the 2019 exit of Luis Fara, the band continued touring Spain.
