Cr7z, real name Christoph Hess, was born on March 7, 1984 in Rosenheim, Germany. He is a German rapper known for his profound and often introspective lyrics, which deal with topics such as self-reflection, social criticism and personal experiences. Cr7z began his music career in the early 2000s, joining the hip-hop group 58Muzik, which was founded by him and producer DJ Eule. The group consists of several members, including Cr7z himself, DJ Eule, Absztrakkt and other artists active in the underground of German hip-hop. Cr7z is known for his lyrical talent and his ability to convey complex topics in a poetic way. His musical style is in the genre of Conscious Rap, which is characterized by profound and often socially critical lyrics. His best-known albums include Sieben Weltmeere (2015) and Ult7ma (2017), which attracted a lot of attention in the German rap scene. In 2020, Cr7z made his breakthrough with the album Gaia. The album climbed to number 14 in Germany and reached the top 40 in Austria and Switzerland. Cr7z often collaborates with other hip-hop artists, including Amewu, Kool Savas and Kollegah.
