Singer Pur was a German vocal ensemble established in 1990 by former members of the Regensburger Domspatzen. The original quintet officially began concert activities on May 22, 1991, and added a soprano to the lineup in 1994. The group's repertoire originally focused on jazz and pop music before expanding to include vocal polyphony from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era. The ensemble performed in nearly 60 countries and recorded more than 30 albums. The group received three ECHO Klassik awards and the 2022 Opus Klassik for the recording Among Whirlwinds. Its discography included the studio recordings Singer Pur Sings Sting (2012), Horizons - Der Geist weht, wo er will (2019), and Pilger auf Erden (2024). In 2019, the ensemble established the annual festival Singer Pur Tage at the Adlersberg Monastery. The group focused its 2024 festival program on the music of the Romantic period.
