Wayne Baker Brooks, born on April 30, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois, is an American blues and blues-rock guitarist and singer. The son of renowned Chicago blues musician Lonnie Brooks, Wayne began his musical journey by joining his father's band as a guitarist in 1990. In 1998, he co-authored Blues for Dummies with Cub Koda and Lonnie Brooks. He established his own record label in 2003 and released his debut album Mystery (2004). His contributions to the blues genre have been recognized with several awards, including the Carry the Blues Torch Award and Top Blues Stars of the Future Award in 2004.
