Frédérick de Grandpré, born on May 18, 1972, in Saint-Nicolas, Quebec, Canada, is a Canadian actor and singer. After graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada in 1996, he began his acting career. De Grandpré's music career started with the release of his debut album, Un martini pour Noël, in 2004. This album won "Best Jazz Album of the Year" at the ADISQ Gala in 2005 and sold over 35,000 copies. In January 2005, he opened for Pat Boone’s show at the Wilfrid-Pelletier Hall. His second album was released in 2006, titled Frédérick De Grandpré, featuring a swing and jazzy reinterpretation of popular French songs from the past three decades.
