Welle: Erdball is a German electronic music group formed in 1990 in Stadthagen by Alf Behnsen and Hannes Malecki. Initially known as Honigmond and later Feindsender 64.3, the duo adopted the name Welle: Erdball in 1993, inspired by a German radio play from 1928. Their album Frontalaufprall (1994) was released, followed by Alles ist möglich (1995) and Tanzpalast 2000 (1996). The band gained European recognition with Der Sinn des Lebens (1998) and achieved significant success with Die Wunderwelt der Technik (2002), reaching Number 1 on the Alternative Charts. Notable albums included Chaos Total (2006), which entered the Media Control Charts at number 77, and Der Kalte Krieg (2011).
