Not Yet is a Japanese J-pop group formed in 2011 as a spinoff of AKB48, a prominent idol group. The quartet consists of Yūko Ōshima, Rino Sashihara, Rie Kitahara, and Yui Yokoyama, all of whom were also members of AKB48. Produced by Yasushi Akimoto, Not Yet was created around Yūko Ōshima, one of the most popular members of AKB48 at the time. The group's debut single, "Shūmatsu Not yet", was released in March, 2011, and reached Number 1 on the Oricon weekly chart. The single's title track achieved a significant milestone by topping the Chaku-uta download charts in just two days, an accomplishment not seen since 2005. Despite the release coinciding with the aftermath of the March 11 earthquake, the single maintained its scheduled launch date. Following "Shūmatsu Not yet", Not Yet released several other EPs, including Naminori Kakigōri (July, 2011), Pera Pera Perao (November, 2011), and Suika BABY (May, 2012). Their final EP, "Hirihiri no Hana", was released on September 25, 2013. The group's discography also includes the album "already" (April, 2014) and a DVD titled Not yet "already" 2014.5.10 1st LIVE (October, 2014).
