Nathan Granner is an American tenor known for performances in opera and oratorio. Granner graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory of Music with a degree in vocal performance in 1996. Operatic debut came in 1998 as Ferrando in the Wolf Trap Opera Company's production of Così fan tutte. Notable performances included Remus in Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha (2000), Celestino Medeiros/Lowell in the world premiere of Anton Coppola’s opera Sacco and Vanzetti (2001), and Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore at the Lyric Opera of Kansas City in 2003. In 2002, Granner was a Metropolitan Opera National Semi-Finalist. Appearance on PBS occurred as a member of Sony Masterworks' vocal trio The American Tenors, whose album reached number 5 on Billboard's Crossover Classical Chart in 2003. Other releases included the collaborative album Departure (2007) and the solo release Ombre di luce (2024).
