Omar Santana, born in Queens, New York, is an American electronic music producer and DJ. He began his career in the 1980s as a prominent figure in acid-techno and breakbeat psychédélique, working under various aliases such as Hard Hop Heathen and Liquid Metal. His early work included mixing and editing for artists like Debbie Harry and Dynamix II. Santana's breakthrough came with hits like "Mr. Dynomite" under the name Liquid Metal and "Slamma Jamma" under The New York Terrorist in the 1990s. He founded H2OH Recordings and Tricked Out Recordings, releasing notable albums such as Hardhop Tricked Out (1998) and Heroes of Hardcore (1998). Santana also remixed tracks for artists including Public Enemy and Janet Jackson. His work appeared in compilations like Thunderdome XI - The Killing Playground, and he participated in events such as Pandemonium at Sporthallen Zuid, Amsterdam, on December 1, 2012.
