Burning Love was a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 2007 by vocalist Chris Colohan, bassist David O'Connor, guitarist Andrus Meret, and drummer Easton Lannaman. The group began as a side project but transitioned to full-time recording after the breakup of Colohan's previous band, Cursed. Their first release was an unreleased EP in 2007, followed by the Burning Love Demo (2008) and the single "Burning Love" (2009). In 2010, Burning Love recorded their debut full-length album, Songs for Burning Lovers, which was released on Deranged Records. The band toured extensively, including a full US tour with Black Breath and Enabler. Their second album, Rotten Thing to Say, was released in June 2012 on Southern Lord Records, preceded by the EP Black Widow (2012). In 2015, the band released the singles "Down So Long" and "Medicine Man", and announced three shows with Cancer Bats before disbanding.
