Nicolle Anne Galyon, born on July 22, 1984, in Winner, South Dakota, is an American singer-songwriter and producer. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2002 to attend Belmont University for Music Business, where she discovered her passion for songwriting. After graduating in 2006, Galyon signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Nashville. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she appeared on NBC's The Voice, which led to collaborations with notable artists like Miranda Lambert and RaeLynn. Galyon earned her first Number 1 song with "We Were Us" (2013) performed by Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert. In 2015, she won the Academy of Country Music's Song of the Year for co-writing "Automatic" with Miranda Lambert and Natalie Hemby. Galyon has written over 5 Number 1 hits, including songs recorded by Lady A, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, and others.
