The SKAndalous All-Stars was an American ska band formed in the United States, composed of members from various notable bands including The Slackers and The Skatalites. Led by Vic Ruggiero, the frontman of The Slackers, the group is considered one of the first ska supergroups. Their debut album, Hit Me, released in 1997, featured interpretations of popular rock and pop tunes such as "God Save the Queen" by the Sex Pistols and "Career Opportunities" by The Clash. The following year, they released their second album, Punk Steady, which included covers of songs by Blondie, Patti Smith, and Nirvana. With their third album, The Age of Insects (1999), the group shifted focus to original compositions by keyboardist and vocalist Vic Ruggiero.
