Semiramis Pekkan, born on September 30, 1948, in Istanbul, is a Turkish actress and singer. She is the younger sister of renowned pop star Ajda Pekkan. Semiramis Pekkan began her career in 1964 with the film Kara Memed, directed by Tunç Başaran, marking her entry into Turkish cinema. Between 1965 and 1966, she also performed as a guest actor at the Meydan Stage in Istanbul. Transitioning into music in 1968, she released several singles and albums under labels such as Columbia, Odeon, and Kervan. Her musical contributions earned her a Gold Record Award in the early 1970s. In 2022, Semiramis Pekkan returned to the music scene with the single "Bana Yalan Söylediler," and in 2024, she released "Unutamadım," featuring backing vocals from her sister Ajda.
