Formed by an Icelandic woman and four French musicians, Klezmer Kaos is part of the klezmer music revival. This revival is so rich and virulent that we must speak of a boom, with the klezmer genre gradually regaining its place at the forefront. Formed in 2004 on the initiative of Heiða Björg Johannsdottir (clarinet, vocals), Klezmer Kaos' originality lies in the contribution of Nordic music to the klezmer style. After a largely successful test on stage, where the group's joie de vivre leaves no one indifferent, Klezmer Kaos released the album Froggy in June 2011.
