Iain Morrison, born on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, is a Scottish musician and singer-songwriter. His early career began with the Glasgow-based band Crash My Model Car, which was signed to V2 Records in 2005 and released the album Ghosts & Heights. Morrison's solo debut came with Empty Beer Bottles & Peat Fire Smoke (2004). He won Composer of the Year at The Scots Trad Music Awards in 2010. In 2011, Morrison appeared on three programmes of the BBC TV series Transatlantic Sessions. His album Eas (2015) was chosen as Album of the Year on BBC Radio Scotland's The Roddy Hart Show and nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year Award at the SAY Awards in 2016. He released the albums Amusement Arcade and 3 a.m. in 2018.
