Zaim Imamović, born on August 26, 1920, in Mrkonjić Grad, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was a Bosnian sevdalinka folk singer. He moved to Sarajevo in 1936, where he began his musical journey. Imamović's breakthrough came when he was discovered by choir leader Cvjetko Rihtman at the cultural society "Gajret." His early performances on Radio Sarajevo, including hits like "Konja vodim, pješke hodim" and "Mujo kuje konja po mjesecu," quickly gained him popularity. Throughout his career, Imamović released numerous EPs and albums, such as Trebeviću Više Sarajeva, Pjesme Iz Bosne, and Ašikuje Adem Aga. He was also a prolific songwriter, penning popular sevdalinkas like "Sve behara i sve cvjeta" and "O, jeseni, tugo moja." Imamović co-founded the Ilidža Folk Music Festival in Sarajevo. He passed away on February 2, 1994, during the Siege of Sarajevo.
