The Poison Control Center was an American indie rock band from Ames, Iowa. Their members included Devin Frank, Donald Ephraim Curtis, Joseph Terry, and Patrick Tape Fleming. The group's sound drew from 1960s bands including The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Their early recordings featured a lo-fi sound and pop rock sensibilities similar to Guided by Voices and Pavement. The band released the debut album The Go-Go Music Show (2001), followed by Kennedy (2006) and Glory Us (2006). They released the compilation album A Collage of Impressions (2007). Later recordings, including the albums Sad Sour Future (2010) and Stranger Ballet (2011), featured a more polished sound.
