Taylor Cameron Carpenter is an American organist and composer born on April 18, 1981, in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Carpenter began musical education at home before attending the American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey, at age eleven. Carpenter's career took off with the release of the album Revolutionary (2008), showcasing a unique approach to organ music by incorporating classical and contemporary pieces. Carpenter followed this with the albums Cameron Live! (2010), If You Could Read My Mind (2014), and All You Need Is Bach (2016). Notable achievements include a Grammy nomination for Revolutionary in 2009, the Leonard Bernstein Award in 2012, and the ECHO Klassik as Instrumentalist of the Year in 2015.
