Rose-Marie Kane, born on February 7, 1956, in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland, is a singer known for her contributions to Middle of the Road (MOR), Pop music, and UK Pop genres. Growing up on a farm with five siblings, Rose-Marie's early life was rooted in rural surroundings. Her career began with local television appearances before expanding into national recognition. Rose-Marie Kane released her debut album Rose-Marie Kane Sings Something for Everyone in 1977, marking the start of a prolific discography that spanned nearly two decades. Notable releases include "Let The Rest Of The World Go By" (1984), which reached number 76 on the charts, the album Looking for Love (1984) followed by "All The Love (In The World)" (1985). Her album Sings Just For You (1985) peaked at number 30. Rose-Marie also appeared in various television shows including The Royal Variety Show, Shooting Stars, and Doctors. She was a judge on two seasons of the BBC talent show Go For It. In addition to her music career, she acted in several productions and starred as Rita in the 2001 film Cold Fish.
