Apichai Tragoolpadetgrai, born 8 November 1967 in Thailand, performed under the stage name Greasy Café and worked as a singer, songwriter, photographer and actor. After completing secondary education at Petcharat High School and vocational training at Thaivichitsilp Art School, he spent four years in England learning photography and playing guitar with The Light Band before returning to Thailand to work as a magazine photographer and film cameraman. Greasy Café entered the music scene in 2001 when he joined Smallroom Bangkok Pop Music Label; his early releases, "Tid Tang" and "Rueng Thammada", appeared on the label’s compilation albums SMALLROOM001 and SMALLROOM002 and established him as an indie artist. He subsequently released the album The Journey Without Maps on 3 November 2012, followed by the album TECHNICOLOR on 30 June 2017, each featuring songs that explored themes of love and life. In addition to his studio work, Greasy Café contributed photography to films such as Jan Dara and Ong Bak 2 and appeared in the 2011 film P‑047. His single "จาก‑วันนี้" charted in 2019, while "วันทรงจำ" and "ความหมายของการมีลมหายใจ" continued his presence on the Thai music charts. Greasy Café earned multiple awards, including Best Male Solo Artist and Best Song at the 2013 Kom Chad Luek awards, cementing his status in contemporary Thai rock.
