Rachel Clare Furner, born July 1, 1993, in Reading, is a British singer who performs under the stage name Tich. She began piano lessons at six and wrote her first songs at eleven, uploading a track called "Sticks and Stones" to Myspace; she joined Youth Music Theatre UK in 2006 and secured a Mercury Records deal at fifteen, though no material was released before she left the label. Tich re‑emerged in 2012 with the EP Candlelight, issued through Gravity, and later signed with AATW. Her debut single "Dumb" reached number 23 on the UK Singles Chart in 2013, followed by "Obsession", which peaked at number 56. The second EP, Candlelight II, dropped later that year, and in 2014 she released "Breathe In Breathe Out", co‑written with Nick Jonas. Furner later shifted her focus to songwriting, signing with Universal Music Publishing in Los Angeles in June 2014, and accrued credits for artists such as Little Mix, Jason Derulo, Craig David, and The Vamps. Her work on Little Mix’s "Secret Love Song" earned a plaque for sales exceeding 1 ,500 000, and she co‑wrote Craig David’s 2016 Children In Need single, "All We Needed".
