The Muffin Men, an English rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1990 to celebrate Frank Zappa's 50th birthday. The band played interpretations of Zappa's material rather than note-for-note covers. Their debut album Say Cheese And Thank You was released in 1993. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, they released several albums including Mülm, Feel the Food, and Frankincense. They collaborated with various Zappa alumni such as Jimmy Carl Black, Ike Willis, Mike Keneally, Ray White, Robert Martin, and Denny Walley. The band toured extensively across the UK, Europe, and Scandinavia until the COVID-19 pandemic. Notable releases include Live @ The Cavern in 2002 and When Worlds Collide.
