Sweet Thing was a Canadian alternative rock band based in Toronto, formed in 2005. The group released their debut EP, Sweet Thing, in 2006, featuring demo versions of tracks like "Change of Seasons" and "Winter Night". They signed with EMI Music Canada in 2008 and worked with producer Rob Schnapf on their self-titled debut album, released in 2010. The album included notable singles such as "Dance Mother" and "Change of Seasons", the latter featured in the teen comedy film Easy A. Sweet Thing toured Canada in 2010 to promote their album. The band disbanded in 2011.
