Grass Widow was an American indie rock band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 2007 by former members of the band Shitstorm, the group consisted of Hannah Lew on bass, Raven Mahon on guitar, and Lillian Maring on drums, with all three members sharing vocal duties. The band released their self-titled debut album, Grass Widow, in 2009 via Make A Mess Records. Their second album, Past Time, was released in 2010 through Kill Rock Stars. In 2012, they released Internal Logic under the HLR label. Notable singles include "Milo Minute" (2011) and "Disappearing Industries" (2012). Grass Widow was known for their collaborative creative process and commitment to sustainability in touring. The band dissolved around 2013, with members pursuing individual projects.
