Maja Blagdan, born on May 16, 1968, in Split, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia, is a pop singer. She began her music career in 1986 as part of the rock band Stijene. Her solo debut came with the album Vino i gitare in 1993. Blagdan represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 held in Oslo, where she performed "Sveta ljubav", finishing at number 4 with 98 points. Throughout her career, she released several albums, including Bijele ruže (1994), Ljubavi moja jedina (1997), and Sretna žena (2008). Other notable albums include Ti (1999) and Moje ime je ljubav (2003).
