Giovanni Caccamo, born on December 8, 1990 in Italy, is a singer-songwriter and television presenter. He began his musical journey as a child, performing with the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano choir. In 2009, Caccamo started working with RAI, appearing on various shows. His breakthrough came in 2015 when he won the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival with "Ritornerò da te" (Sanremo Version), which was also his debut single under Sugar Music. This success led to the release of his first album, Qui per te, which peaked at Number 29 on the Italian Albums Chart. Caccamo's second album, Non siamo soli, featured collaborations with Federica Abbate and Carmen Consoli. He has since written songs for artists like Emma Marrone, Francesca Michielin, and Malika Ayane. In addition to his music career, Caccamo has worked as a television presenter and voice actor, notably dubbing the character Uku in Pixar's short film Lava.
