The Poozies is an all-female Scottish traditional folk band that formed in 1991. The group initially consisted of Mary Macmaster and Patsy Seddon on harp, Sally Barker on guitar and vocals, piano accordionist Karen Tweed, and Jenny Gardner as a guest fiddler. Their debut album, Chantoozies, was released in 1993, followed by Dansoozies in 1995. After Barker left the group in 1996, Kate Rusby joined as lead vocalist, and they released "Come Raise Your Head" EP (1997) and Infinite Blue (1998). Eilidh Shaw replaced Rusby, and the band released Changed Days Same Roots in 2003. Barker rejoined in 2006, and Mairearad Green joined after Tweed's departure in 2007. The Poozies released Yellow Like Sunshine in 2009 and Into the Well in 2015. In 2018, with an all-Scottish lineup including Sarah McFadyen and Tia Files, they released Punch.
