The Quartetto di Cremona, an Italian string quartet, was founded in 2000 in Cremona. The ensemble's members studied at the Walter Stauffer Academy under Salvatore Accardo, Rocco Filippini, and Bruno Giuranna, and later with Piero Farulli and Hatto Beyerle. They gained international recognition through performances at major festivals worldwide, including the Beethovenfest in Bonn and the Perth Festival in Australia. The quartet has performed in prestigious venues such as the Konzerthaus in Berlin and Wigmore Hall in London. In 2016, they were awarded the ICMA Award for their recording of Beethoven: Complete String Quartets. They have collaborated with notable artists including Bruno Giuranna and Angela Hewitt, and hold the Chair of the String Quartet Program at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona since 2011.
