Arbok 48, whose real name is Mario Bruns (born June 18, 1987 in Mettingen), is a German rapper. He grew up in Hörstel, Westphalia. He began producing his own music with a friend in his basement studio at home in 2003. By the end of 2006, he had released several download albums under the name Eighty Action Records. In 2007, he moved to Osnabrück, where he met Crystal F at a concert and soon after became a member of the rap crew Ruffiction. Ruffiction is made up of Crystal F (rap, production), Crack Claus (rap) and Arbok 48 (rap), active since 2006/2007 with origins in Berlin, Osnabrück and Hamelin. The group combines hip-hop with influences from horrorcore, trap, gangsta rap, battlerap, crossover and hardcore punk. Arbok 48 released his first solo album Modus Operandi in 2012 via Ruffiction Productions, distributed by Distributionz. His second solo album Der letzte große Sommer followed in 2025. It is released on vinyl at the end of July 2025, reaches number 11 in the German charts and describes a youth between rebellion and growing up.
